Guy Carpenter hires Wolfe from Swiss Re as Chief Commercial Officer, NA

Guy Carpenter has announced a new senior hire at the reinsurance brokerage, as former Swiss Re executive Keith Wolfe joins the company to take on a newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer, North America, effective immediately.

Wolfe had spent 27 years working at Swiss Re and its predecessor companies in a variety of leadership positions, most recently serving as President, US Property & Casualty.

Wolfe starts in the new role immediately and will report to John Trace, CEO of Guy Carpenter North America.

Commenting on Wolfe’s appointment, Trace said, “We are excited to have Keith on our team.

“He is an extremely well respected and experienced reinsurance executive who will help us develop new client offerings as we continue to advocate for our clients and deliver on what we do best.”

In the position, Wolfe will be tasked with helping to drive growth strategies across the region for reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter, working in collaboration with the North America Segments and Centers of Excellence.

Wolfe will also lead a Client Executive Management team tasked with driving strategic engagements with clients and prospects.

In addition, he will also lead Guy Carpenter’s US facultative business, alongside Frank Guerriero, Chairman of GC FAC®.
