Guidewire among top midsize employers

Insurtech company Guidewire has been named one of the country’s best midsize employers by Forbes.

Guidewire ranked number 23 out of 500 companies on the Forbes “America’s Best Mid-Size Employers 2023” list. It ranked first in the “IT, Internet, Software & Services” category.

“We are honored to be included on this year’s Forbes America’s Best Mid-Size Employers list,” said Sinéad Condon, chief people officer at Guidewire. “Since our founding, Guidewire has focused on fostering a strong culture based on three values: integrity, rationality, and collegiality. Without our dedicated employees living these values and serving our customers with them, Guidewire would not be what it is today.”

The Forbes list was compiled based on the results of an independent survey of approximately 45,000 American employees working for companies with less than 1,000 employees in America. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees who were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to their family and friends.

Guidewire is a cloud-based platform for property-casualty insurers. It serves more than 500 insurers in 38 countries. In September, the company announced a partnership with Earnix, a provider of real-time rating and analytical underwriting services.
