Gallagher has made a strategic addition to its Middle East & Africa (MEA) team by appointing Amanda Wynne (pictured above) as divisional director to spearhead the firm’s mergers and acquisitions (M&A) insurance solutions across the region.

Wynne, who has an extensive background as a corporate lawyer and experience in transaction solutions, will focus on offering key products such as warranty and indemnity insurance, tax liability insurance, and contingent liability insurance.

Her expertise, largely acquired during her tenure with Aon where she advised on representations and warranties insurance for significant mergers and acquisitions, positions her as an asset for Gallagher’s clients facing complex insurance challenges in their deals.

Gallagher’s presence in the region encompasses a diverse team of around 50 risk professionals, delivering specialized insurance knowledge across various sectors including energy, construction, financial services, marine, and aviation. These sectors are currently experiencing notable growth.

Stationed in Gallagher’s office within the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Wynne will report to Daniel Miller, divisional director of financial lines for MEA.

“We continue to see a significant amount of M&A, so we are delighted to bring Amanda on board to support existing and new clients with insurance solutions to help protect them from unexpected risks and challenges when undertaking deals,” Miller said. “Amanda has an infectious enthusiasm, and I am looking forward to working with her as we expand our services.”
