Gallagher snaps up Texas firm

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has continued its M&A spree with the acquisition of Texas-based Boley-Featherston Insurance. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Wichita Falls, Texas, Boley-Featherston is a retail insurance agency with expertise in oil and gas, construction, healthcare, and benefits consulting. The agency serves customers throughout Texas and the surrounding region.

As part of the acquisition, Josh Andrajack, Cameron Cremeens, Robby Martin and their team will remain in their current location. They will report to Bret VanderVoort, head of Gallagher’s South Central retail P&C brokerage operations.

“Boley-Featherston is highly regarded in the region with an outstanding record of generating growth,” said J. Patrick Gallagher Jr., chairman, president and CEO of Arthur J. Gallagher. “I am delighted to welcome Josh, Cameron, Robbie and their associates to Gallagher.”

Boley-Featherston is the latest in a string of acquisitions for Gallagher. Last week, the global broker announced the acquisition of Nebraska-based Quality First Insurance and the $660 million acquisition of Buck, its largest HR benefits acquisition to date.
