FWD launches first bancassurance partnership with CN bank in Macao

FWD Hong Kong has launched its first bancassurance partnership with China CITIC Bank International (CNBCI) in Macao, with the distribution deal providing a comprehensive suite of insurance products and services to the bank’s customers, including high-net-worth (HNW) individuals.

Utilizing FWD’s technologies in customer-led products and easy-to-understand propositions, the bancassurance deal will offer CNBCI customers in Macao insurance services that help with diverse wealth management and legacy planning needs.

FWD Greater China managing director and Hong Kong CEO Ken Lau (pictured, fourth from right) said that the bancassurance partnership will bolster and support the bank’s efforts in protecting its clients in Macao through comprehensive insurance distribution.

“Changing the way people feel about insurance remains the vision that guides our work. With this partnership, we will bring our innovative and digitally enabled products combined with seamless customer experience to CNCBI customers, as well as visitors to Macao, to help them meet their diverse wealth management and legacy planning needs,” Lau said.
