The Financial Services Council (FSC) of New Zealand has announced that they are taking in new members for its Climate Related Disclosures (CRD) focus group.

Held monthly and facilitated by Shift Advisory consultant Corinne McLean, the groups’ purpose is to continue discussions and collaboration for the Climate Related Scenario Analysis as well as the use of the FSC Climate Scenario Narratives for the Financial Services Sector report. It also includes all aspects of the Climate Related Disclosures Regime and consultations as they are released.

For those looking to get involved, the CRD Focus Group presents an opportunity to share learning and insights with a flexible, informal agenda. According to the official news release, focus groups can also be attended by special guests via the meeting’s style of open and more relaxed conversations with regulators and officials.

The FSC urged those interested to contact the organisation or reach out to the FSC’s climate and ESG lead and head of regulatory affairs Carissa Perano for more information.
