FSC shares New Year’s resolutions for professionals


The Financial Services Council has come out with a list of 10 New Year’s resolutions for financial professionals, to help them become more involved with NZ’s financial services community.

The 10 resolutions include a wide range of activities, such as joining an FSC committee, helping organise the annual conference, participating in consultations, and learning from a library of research reports. According to the FSC, these actions can help members to grow professionally and network with a diverse range of fellows from various roles, experiences and backgrounds.

These resolutions are:


Join an FSC committee or working group
Help organise the leading financial services conference in New Zealand
Get equipped with the knowledge and tools for life after licensing at the Future Ready Advice Summits
Have your say on the FSC Code of Conduct
Glean valuable insights you can apply to your business
Engage with the financial services community online
Start the year off with a regulatory and economic update
Grow your own financial wellbeing 
Ensure you’re on top of the latest financial services industry news and updates
