Five startups to pitch at insurtechLIVE

InsurtechLIVE 23 will feature short pitches from five selected startups when Insurtech Australia (IA) hosts the event on Wednesday at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.

Selected to pitch are independent broker and client website Advisr, claims and compliance platform Curium, Hollard-backed Kanopi, group insurance platform Sentro and Sydney-based construction data firm Sync Technologies.

Each will present a five-minute pitch and the winner will then compete at InsureTech Connect Asia 2023 in Singapore.

The event will kick off with an opening address by IA CEO Simone Dossetor and EY Asia-Pacific Insurance Leader Grant Peters, following a light lunch sponsored by Hamilton Locke.

Stella Insurance CEO Sam White will then address the crowd of around 250, and panel discussions will feature executives from key sponsor EY and handdii, AirTree Ventures, RAC Insurance, RAA Insurance, daisee, Cover Genius, QBE Ventures, Geosite, Reask, Marsh, BCyber, Amazon Web Services and Law & Cyber.

QBE Ventures CEO James Orchard, Geosite Founder and CEO Rachel Olney and Reask Co-Founder and CCO Nick Hassam will discuss how geospatial and AI solutions can address climate risk, affordability and accessibility issues.
