Final chance to enter NTI's $265K truck raffle

NTI will announce the winner of its $265,000 “Expedition Truck” raffle at Supercars NTI Townsville 500 on Sunday, July 10. All proceeds go directly to MND research, which is close to the insurer and its people’s hearts, as former CEO Wayne Patterson lost his battle with the disease in 2018.

Commenting on the raffle prize, current NTI CEO Tony Clark described the truck as “two vehicles in one” – a 4×4 crew cab truck with tray and a luxury 3.5-metre motorhome.

“The truck can seat seven, and the motorhome has a lounge for five, so they offer the perfect opportunity to explore Australia with friends and family,” Clark said. “The motorhome boasts all the latest technology and is set up simply by pressing a button. It’s luxury on wheels with a queen-sized bed, kitchenette, air conditioning, indoor and outdoor showers, LED lighting and TV, solar panels, water storage systems, and more.”

The $265,000 truck is the fifth vehicle to be raffled by NTI for MND research. This year, NTI has raised over $200,000 through its unique truck raffles. Meanwhile, it has already raised more than $1 million over the past five years.

“Two people are diagnosed with MND, and two people die from the disease every day in Australia,” Clark said. “We saw how it affected Wayne and wanted to honour his legacy by helping to fund medical research into treatment and ultimately a cure for MND.

“The money raised from this year’s raffle … will be given to the MND and Me Foundation via NTI’s official research grant to provide the University of Queensland with funds for medical research.”
