Mt. Logan Re Ltd., the Everest Group owned and operated third-party investor capitalised reinsurance sidecar-like investment structure, has strengthened its investor relations team with the addition of two key hires.

Like any insurance-linked securities (ILS) offering, as a collateralized reinsurance investment vehicle, Mt. Logan Re sources capital from institutional investors to deploy into risk opportunities, so a robust pipeline of investor contacts, strong relationships with them and servicing capabilities is key.

The company has now made two important hires in its Investor Relations team, bringing on board Bradford Murphy as its new Global Business Development Lead and Talia Simons as its new Global Investor Servicing Lead.

Everest explained that, “Both will be instrumental in expanding Mt. Logan’s investor base and serving investors according to the highest institutional standards.”

Youssef Sfaif, Chief Operating Officer at Mt. Logan Re, said that he is, “Pleased to welcome Bradford Murphy and Talia Simons to the Mt. Logan Investor Relations team!”

Bradford Murphy, the new Global Business Development Lead at Mt. Logan Re, has a career and track-record that has been focused on investor relations across various asset classes.

Murphy is based in New York and began his career with analyst roles at UBS and Lehman Brothers, before moving into credit risk management with MUFG, then working in marketing and investor relations for a range of asset managers, before his most recent role as Head Of Business Development at Hudson Cove Capital Management, an asset backed securities specialist investment firm.

Talia Simons, Mt. Logan Re’s new Global Investor Servicing Lead, joins the company after a career spent in banking and reinsurance, with a focus on risk management, operations and client servicing.
