Ecclesiastical launches new business continuity planning training module

Ecclesiastical Insurance is now offering new training for organizations looking to establish and/or improve their business continuity strategies.

The new Business Continuity Planning module by Ecclesiastical Specialist School is being offered free of charge. The module explores how a comprehensive business continuity plan can assist organizations in returning to normal operations within a manageable timeframe and in a cost-effective way, a release said.

The module includes an overview of the key considerations, risk factors, and steps to take when coping with a major disaster or event. It also has practical steps that organizations can take immediately following such an event, as well as in the days, weeks, and months that follow.

Ecclesiastical tests organizations at the end of the module with a quick quiz – accomplishing it allows organizations to download a personalized certificate as proof of completion.

“At Ecclesiastical, we take risk management very seriously,” said Ecclesiastical chief underwriting officer and vice president of risk control Colin Robertson. “We are here to help our brokers and customers, and the Ecclesiastical Specialist School offers hands-on training for various risk management topics.”

The insurer invites all management professionals to visit its Resource Centre – on Ecclesiastical’s website – for more risk management information and materials.
