DKG launches Fuse Fleet with Swedish insurtech

13 April 2023

Sydney-based brokerage DKG is launching a new dynamic insurance offer called Fuse Fleet under a partnership with Swedish insurtech Greater Than.

Fuse Fleet rewards safe driving and enables accurate pricing of premiums, making use of Greater Than’s pattern AI technology to convert GPS data into crash probability insights.

It is launching across Australia this month.

The predictive AI capabilities turn GPS data into a Crash Probability Score for every driver, providing fleets with insights about driving habits and recommendations to improve safety. Fuse Fleet will use those risk insights to accurately price insurance premiums, DKG says, and also offer fully digital claims management solutions.

“Using Greater Than’s AI technology, we can now provide fleet management companies, fleet operators, brokers and telematics partners with deeper risk insights including crash probability,” MD Luke Kelly said.

“These insights benefit fleets through risk mitigation and accurate, transparent insurance premiums.”

DKG was co-founded by Steadfast MD & CEO Robert Kelly more than 25 years ago as Delaney Kelly Golding and is today headed by his sons, Robert Jnr and Luke.

The Australian fleet market is made up of around 485,000 businesses operating around 3.9 million vehicles and Fuse Fleet says it offers this sector greater control by connecting telematics data through an API.

“In this partnership with DKG, we’re delighted that our Crash Probability Score is facilitating a dynamic insurance offer that delivers road safety benefits and enables fair insurance pricing to the Australian market,” Greater Than Chief Business Officer Johanna Forseke said.
