CRC Group has added Vince Colosimo (pictured) to its roster as executive vice president in the New York City Downtown office, with the key hire slated to become office president in the middle of next year.
According to the wholesale specialty insurance distributor, current office president Fred Curatolo will be advancing to the role of office chairman, a newly created post.
Brent Tredway, president of the brokerage division at CRC, highlighted the significance of Colosimo’s appointment, saying: “CRC has always had a strong casualty team in New York led by Fred Curatolo. The addition of Vince will help us ensure we continue to build on Manhattan’s success for many years to come.
“We are adding talent nationwide. We welcomed a record number of new producers to CRC last year, and we are off to a very strong start in 2024.”
Lauding his successor’s track record and the depth of his industry relationships, Curatolo said in an emailed release: “As an elite construction specialist, Vince’s industry relationships and expertise make him a fantastic addition to our office and a resource for all of CRC Group’s construction-focused teams.
“Vince couldn’t be a better fit, and I’m excited to have him working alongside us as we continue to expand our presence in New York and in the construction space nationally.”
Meanwhile Colosimo expressed his excitement by saying: “I’m thrilled to embark on this new journey with team CRC.
“The opportunity to continue building the flagship NYC office alongside their exceptional team is exciting. I look forward to working together to achieve new growth and recruit the industry’s next generation of outstanding wholesale professionals.”
