Crawford names international executive general adjuster

Crawford & Company has appointed Chris Lockwood as its new international executive general adjuster.

As international executive general adjuster, Lockwood will join Crawford Canada’s Global Technical Services (GTS) division in Western Canada – Crawford’s largest, most experienced team of strategic loss managers and technical adjusters. He will report to GTS Western Canada vice president of loss adjusting Walter Waugh.

Lockwood has more than 25 years of combined experience working as an independent adjuster and company examiner for international firms. His areas of expertise include mining, marine, energy, mobile equipment, natural resources, pollution liability, commercial property, and builder’s risk. Lockwood has also handled numerous claims throughout North America, and was named a correspondent for the Standard Steamship Owners Protections and Indemnity Association.

“I am very excited to join Crawford’s International Adjusting team during a dynamic time in the global insurance industry,” said Lockwood of his appointment.

“We are delighted that Chris has elected to join our Global Technical Services team in Western Canada,” stated Walter Waugh. “Chris has a diversified and deep skill set across many industry sectors. He has earned the international general adjuster designation, which is our highest designation within the GTS banner.”
