Bermuda-based re/insurance fronting firm Concert Insurance Group has announced the promotion of Alison Davidsen to the role of chief operating officer, a position recently added within the company.

Davidsen brings a wealth of experience to her new role, with over 25 years in the property and casualty insurance industry, especially in the specialty program sector.

As per her LinkedIn, Davidsen’s professional journey began at QBE Insurance, where she was responsible for managing the policy administration, claims, and accounting systems to support QBE’s program business. Davidsen also had a significant tenure at Hudson Insurance Group, a Fairfax company. There, she was instrumental in creating and managing the company’s program submission review, due diligence, and onboarding processes.

Davidsen, who initially joined Concert in July 2022 as vice president of client management and operations, will now report directly to John Hendrickson, the chief executive of the company.

“Alison has demonstrated an impressive ability to balance strategy as well as execution in supporting Concert’s commitment to operational excellence. Working closely with our managing general agent and third-party administrator partners, she has overseen a successful enterprise-wide initiative that ensures our partners’ experience with Concert is an exemplary one,” Hendrickson said.
