CNA Canada expands regional vice president's role

CNA Canada has announced that Dean Grigoruk (pictured), current regional vice president of the Eastern Region, will now serve the expanded role of regional vice president of the Eastern Region, automobile and international teams.

In his new expanded role, Grigoruk will continue his responsibilities as regional vice president, Eastern Region. He will now work closely with CNA’s teams in Canada and its counterparts in the US and the UK to grow and develop the company’s international portfolio. Grigoruk will also offer leadership oversight to CNA’s expanding automobile team.

Grigoruk will continue to work at the regional level and report to CNA Insurance president and CEO Nick Creatura. On the underwriting practice side, Grigoruk will also report to CNA Canada senior vice president and chief underwriting officer David Price.

“Dean is an exceptional leader with refined technical and people development skills,” said David Price. “We are thrilled for him to continue to expand his leadership oversight.”

“This expanded role will encourage broader collaboration and position us well to achieve our goals,” said Nick Creatura. “I am thrilled to see Dean taking on this role.”

Grigoruk has more than 25 years of industry experience, starting his career in personal lines. He held several roles of increasing responsibility in casualty, marine and business development, in leadership positions. Grigoruk initially joined CNA Canada as a senior underwriter, then later came back to the company as a regional vice president of the Eastern Region in 2011.

In December, CNA Canada expanded the role of VP of specialty Jacki Detablan, where she would lead the company’s risk-managed casualty practice.
