Former professional hockey player joins as vice president and casualty broker

Wholesale insurance brokerage Brown & Riding has added Justin Mansfield (pictured) to its national casualty practice.

Mansfield, who will serve as vice president and casualty broker, brings expertise in risks associated with construction, real estate, and hospitality. He joins the team in Brown & Riding’s New York office.

Chief operating officer Mike Boseman commented: “We are excited to welcome Justin to Brown & Riding. “His solutions-minded approach, dedication to hard work, and emphasis on professionalism and transparency align well with our core values.

Having started his insurance career in 2016 at an insurtech startup following a professional hockey stint, Mansfield has spent the past five years supporting his retail clients in navigating casualty markets.

Throughout his career, Mansfield has been dedicated to fostering robust relationships within the insurance industry and excels at addressing complex client challenges.
