Brown & Brown snaps up VistaNational Insurance Group

Brown & Brown has announced that its subsidiary, Brown & Brown of Illinois, has acquired the assets of VistaNational Insurance Group in Oak Brook, IL.

Founded in 1996 by president and CEO David N. Schwimmer, VistaNational offers employee benefits solutions to both businesses and public entities throughout Illinois and in certain other states. Following the acquisition, the VistaNational team will continue operating out of its Oak Brook location under the leadership of Kahlil Hogan; Schwimmer will retire from the business after 47 years of service.

A company release also noted that VistaNational will operate within Brown & Brown’s retail segment and report to regional president Paul F. Rogers.

“For more than 25 years, VistaNational’s experienced team has combined their impressive industry knowledge with practical technology solutions to deliver a wide variety of employee benefits products and services to their customers,” said Rogers. “We are honored they have chosen to continue their journey as part of the Brown & Brown team and look forward to many years of continued success.”

“This exciting transaction will enhance VistaNational’s already focused customer service model by expanding the resources, products and services available to our customers,” added Schwimmer.
