BrokerLink has announced the acquisition of three agencies: Vegreville Insurance Ltd. in Alberta, as well as Rick Beer Insurance Inc. and AAimsafe Inc. in Ontario. All three acquisitions closed on August 1.

Alberta-based Vergeville Insurance was founded in 1971. It offers expert advice and a wide range of coverage options for home, auto, business, farm and life insurance.

Michael Webb, president of Vergeville Insurance, said the deal with BrokerLink will allow them to continue delivering customized insurance solutions while providing access to technology and additional resources.

“We’ve been dedicated to helping our customers protect what matters to them most, while providing the best service possible,” Webb said.

Rick Beer Insurance offers home, auto, tenant, business, marine, farm, and pet insurance. It was established in 2018 and has since served customers in Brockville, Ontario and surrounding areas.

AAimsafe Insurance, which is also located in Ontario, has been in business for 15 years. It serves customers in Mississauga and surrounding areas, providing insurance solutions for homes, vehicles, and businesses.

Strengthening communities through partnerships

In a press release, BrokerLink highlighted its continued investments in the communities it serves. Brokerages joining BrokerLink shares its values of community engagement and charitable giving, it said.

Rick Beer Insurance, for example, has actively supported local sports teams, charities, and educational institutions. AAimsafe Insurance has been involved in similar local initiatives.

“We appreciate the strong foundation these insurance brokerages have established in their vibrant communities, and their hard work will carry on,” said Michael Stack, vice president of acquisitions.
