BFL Canada is continuing to expand with the opening of its 25th office, located in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
The new office, which is situated at 214 Place North, Suite 302, 9909 – 102 Street in Grande Prairie, also marks the firm’s fourth office in the province.
A Press release announcing the move said the decision to establish a presence in Grande Prairie is part of BFL Canada’s goals of expanding its network and strengthening community connections in the Northern Alberta region.
Grande Prairie is poised for significant economic growth over the next decade, the release noted further, driven by its agriculture, energy, forestry, and trade sectors.
“Grande Prairie’s strategic location, burgeoning economy, wealth of resources and workforce
availability position it as a key business opportunity for BFL Canada to continue to grow, attract
new talent and share its unique approach and culture with companies in the northern part of
the region,” said president and COO Lisa Giannone.
BFL Canada’s newest office will be led by Rachelle Himer, managing vice president – Grande Prairie.
Himer has more than 25 years of insurance industry experience. Her background includes roles at HUB International and Aon Risk Services, as noted in her LinkedIn account.
Recently, BFL Canada named Julie Bédard as vice president of strategic position and business relations – Eastern Quebec. She is based in the firm’s Quebec City office.
BFL Canada also appointed two regional leaders earlier this year, naming Frederik Pelaez as the regional vice president of the Eastern Region and Patrick Vena as managing partner for its Montreal office.
