Barry Nilsson expands Adelaide team

Kinnear said she was looking forward to joining the firm renowned for its insurance and health law expertise.

Kennedy said he expects the trio and their team to grow the Adelaide office and strengthen the firm’s capability to support its national clients in the highly specialised areas of insurance and health law.
“Julie is a recognised leader in the insurance market in Adelaide and specialises in professional indemnity and financial lines claims,” he said. “[Meanwhile], Helen is highly regarded and responsible for managing a casualty practice assisting a number of major Australian insurers.

Barry Nilsson’s strategic focus for 2023-25
The trio and their team joined BN’s Adelaide team after the firm overhauled its look and strategic focus for 2023 to 2025.
As part of its renewed strategy, BN – which will celebrate its 60th anniversary this year – will deepen its expertise in family and insurance law to defy the current “generalist” professional services trend of expanding into new business lines.
“Launching alongside BN’s refreshed brand, our 2025 strategy consolidates the direction BN embarked upon 10 years ago while mapping a clear path for strong and sustained growth underpinned by a client-first approach embraced by staff at all levels,” Kennedy said in a previous statement.
