Axis Insurance Managers swoops for BMG Insurance Brokers

Axis Insurance Managers (Axis Insurance), a Vancouver-headquartered company that offers risk management and insurance services, has successfully acquired BMG Insurance Brokers (BMG), a western-based, privately owned insurance brokerage firm specializing in aviation and aerospace risks.

BMG is known in the industry for delivering a high level of knowledge, service, and support to clients and the aviation and aerospace industries. Through the acquisition, Axis aims to become a leader in aviation and aerospace insurance, enabling its goal to build a best-in-class national insurance brokerage and establish industry-based practice groups and teams.

Effective June 01, BMG will operate under the Axis brand, with BMG managing directors Maureen Crockett and Brian Julien leading and expanding the aviation and aerospace practice.

“Our focus is always on our clients and on delivering tailored insurance programs designed to address their specific needs and wants,” said Crockett. “This evolution enables us to further enhance our client service, empower our people, and continue to ensure the best result for our clients.”

Axis Insurance CEO Alex Meier commented: “At the core of our combined teams is our shared corporate value of being client-focused. We understand that people and relationships are our business. The acquisition and partnership of BMG enable us as a group to further enhance our pursuit of innovation, teamwork, and expertise.”
