Trevor Gandy, whose credentials include about two decades at Chubb where he was chief diversity officer, has come on board AXA XL as global head of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).
AXA XL, the property & casualty and specialty risk division of AXA, said Gandy joins its human resources leadership roster and will be working with regional HR teams, as well as with business units, as part of his global remit.
Based in the US, Gandy has more than 25 years of HR experience, the last decade of which spanned DE&I and cultural dynamics within global companies including Amazon and Markel.
“We are focused on taking tangible and measurable steps towards further building a culture of inclusion and equity,” said AXA XL chief HR officer Karen le Duc in a release.
“Trevor’s extensive experience and insight will be invaluable as we engage with senior leaders and our global workforce to continue to embed effective long-term DE&I practices across our organisation worldwide.”
