AXA UK&I CEO Tara Foley joins ABI Board

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has today announced that Tara Foley, CEO, AXA UK & Ireland, will join the ABI Board with immediate effect.

The ABI Board provides the strategic direction to the Association’s work, chaired by Baroness Nicky Morgan. The ABI also announced that Clive Bolton, CEO, M&G Life Insurance, and Amanda Blanc, Group CEO, Aviva, join the Board alongside Tara. The appointments replace previous ABI Board representatives for each of the firms.

Baroness Nicky Morgan, commented, “Their combined experience and insights will be hugely valuable as we look ahead to the opportunities and challenges for the industry over the coming years.”

Tara Foley, CEO at AXA UK & Ireland added, “As the UK continues to experience extreme uncertainty, it’s never been more important for the insurance industry to work together and provide the resilience and protection to help people overcome the challenges they face. I am honoured to join the ABI Board and I look forward to collaborating with fellow Board members to address key industry issues and develop new opportunities that benefit both insurers and customers alike.”
