Aviva returns as Principal Sponsor of The BIBA Conference 2022

27th January 2022

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) is pleased and proud to announce Aviva’s return as Principal Sponsor of The BIBA Conference 2022.

Under the theme of Our Insurance Community, this year’s event will bring together the largest insurance broking community in-person on 11 and 12 May for two fantastic days of networking, insights, and visionary speakers at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.

Aviva has been an extremely valued sponsor of The BIBA Conference for more than 25 years, seeing the annual event as a means to reach out to thousands of brokers and inform them about the numerous ways Aviva can help them support their customers.

Welcoming Aviva on board, Emma Chapman, BIBA’s Head of Conference said:“2022 will be an important year for The BIBA Conference and we are looking forward to getting our insurance community back together again under one roof. The continued success of the event is down to the greatly appreciated support from our sponsors, exhibitors and delegates. With their help we have been able to grow the event year on year from the first BIBA Conference in 1978 to the fantastic exhibition and conference we know today. We are delighted that Aviva is once again sponsoring The BIBA Conference and are grateful for their long-standing support of the event. The Aviva stand is always a hive of activity over the two open days, and we are excited to see what they have planned.”

Gareth Hemming, Aviva Chief Distribution Officer said: “BIBA offers fantastic support to brokers throughout the year and The BIBA Conference is an important industry event that we always look forward to. As an insurer that champions the UK broking community, we are proud to continue our principal sponsorship of The BIBA Conference 2022. We’re especially looking forward to it this year with the return of the face to face conference and can’t wait to see our broker partners there to find out more about what we can do to support them.”
