Ardonagh diversity underpins nine-month earnings increase

21 November 2022

Ardonagh Group says it will continue to build global momentum following a nine-month result underpinned by its diverse operations.

Income rose 34% to £905 million ($1.6 billion) and adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose 20% to £286 million ($507 million) for the year to September 30.

Group organic growth of 6% was driven by specialty, international and advisory platforms.

“Ardonagh’s strong performance continued into the third quarter, with the diversity of our platforms providing a great hedge against volatility in any single geography or product,” CEO David Ross said.

The company will continue to build its global momentum through a “clear and disciplined approach” to acquisitions, executing on organic and operational excellence initiatives and fostering a high-performance client-centric environment, he says.

The group’s international business comprises Ardonagh Europe and Ardonagh Global Partners, which includes Resilium and Ethos Broking Australia.
