ARAG to provide hire car cover for Hastings Direct customers

Leading legal expenses insurance and assistance provider ARAG has been selected by Hastings Direct to supply Vehicle Hire Insurance to motor clients of the Bexhill-on-Sea based insurance provider.

The cover gives customers a like-for-like replacement car or van, in the event of a total loss of their insured vehicle to fire, theft, vandalism or an accident for which they were at fault.

The Vehicle Hire Insurance policy will be available to more than a million Hastings Direct motor insurance customers as an optional add-on to their primary motor policy.

Hastings is now one of the top personal insurance brands in the UK and currently insures more than 3.4 million customers.
