ARAG extends commercial ATE cover on TheJudge Accelerate platform

Authored by ARAG

ARAG has teamed up with leading after the event insurance broker TheJudge to provide ATE insurance for commercial contract disputes through the ATE pioneer’s Accelerate platform.

Accelerate enables firms to get an indication of the cover that may be available to their client from TheJudge’s panel of A-rated insurers within 24 hours, and a formal quotation within 5 days.

ARAG’s ATE policies are now available for both personal and commercial clients on the platform, offering a £250,000 limit of indemnity and fully-deferred premiums that are staged according to how far a case progresses before it is settled.

Commenting on the new scheme, ARAG’s Lisa Abrahams, ATE Account Manager said:

We’re very excited to be working with TheJudge and extending the availability of ARAG’s latest Recourse Options policy to more firms and their clients. ARAG has championed the cause of access to justice since the company’s inception and this deal will enable us to broaden that even further.

Responding for TheJudge, Director Matthew Amey added:

It’s great to add a prestigious and highly respected name like ARAG’s to the Accelerate proposition. Their strength and extensive ATE experience extend the range of options we can offer firms looking to protect a client and makes Accelerate an invaluable tool for lawyers seeking ATE cover.

Accelerate offers a rapid market search for ATE insurance quotations requiring cover for adverse costs and own disbursements cover in commercial litigation.
