ARAG appoints new HR Manager and expands Corporate Sales team

ARAG UK has appointed an HR Manager to oversee our ever-growing team, here in Bristol and beyond.

Kate Rees joined ARAG after gaining a wealth of experience at Tesco, where she started her personnel management career. She is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Commenting on her appointment, Kate said:

ARAG already has a large but friendly team, that is very committed to the company’s core purpose of extending access to justice. I’m really looking forward to the challenge of maintaining that energy and commitment while helping ARAG to grow the business.

We also have two new faces in our Corporate Sales team, serving insurers, banks, building societies and our fellow MGAs, but neither is new to the world of legal expenses insurance.

Jay Curtis brought almost 25 years insurance industry experience to his new position as Corporate Account Manager. In a diverse career, more than half of which has been spent in the legal expenses niche, Jay has worked in underwriting, claims and business development roles and worked for other major insurance brands, including Hiscox and RSA.

Joining Jay is Kevin Stoker, who also has specific legal expenses experience to bring to his new post, as Corporate Account Handler. Spanning more than 15 years in financial services, Kevin’s similarly diverse career includes spending the past 5 years within the legal protection market.

Commenting on the two appointments to his team, Matt Warren, ARAG’s UK Sales Manager said:

“Jay and Kevin have a huge amount to offer, and I know that they are both looking forward to getting to know our many corporate business partners. I’m very pleased that we have been able to attract two candidates with such valuable experience to join our corporate team.”
