Aon has announced the appointment of Adam Neverton as global head of strategic broking for professions, effective immediately.

In his new position, Neverton will be based in London and will report to both John Brosnan, head of specialty products for financial and professional services in the Global Broking Centre, and Kristin Kraeger, CEO of professional services in the US.

Neverton’s focus will be on developing customised risk management solutions for Aon’s professional services clients globally. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Neverton has worked extensively with professional services firms and began his career at Aon in 1993.

Aon explained that his appointment is part of Aon’s ongoing focus on the professional services sector and follows other recent additions to the team, including Alicia Goosen as head of professional services at the Global Broking Centre, and Brendan Groarke and Nadine Daniels in leadership roles in growth, strategy, and the US market.

John Brosnan, head of specialty products at Aon, noted that Neverton’s expertise will help strengthen Aon’s value proposition in meeting the needs of its global professional clients.

“Adam is a valued colleague with deep industry expertise. In his new role, I am confident he will enhance Aon’s ability to offer a compelling value proposition that meets the complex needs of our global professional clients,” Brosnan said.

Kristin Kraeger, CEO of professional services, added that Neverton’s strategic insight will boost Aon’s range of solutions.

“Adam’s strategic insight and acumen will leverage Aon’s full suite of solutions, market relationships, and alternative risk options, providing our clients with more innovative ways to transfer risk,” Kraeger said.

Also, this month, the global broker announced the establishment of two new leadership roles within its US reinsurance solutions division.

Stephen Hofmann was named US CEO of reinsurance solutions, while Kevin Traetow will serve as US vice chairman of reinsurance solutions.

Both Hofmann and Traetow had held the positions of US co-presidents of Reinsurance Solutions since 2021. In their new roles, they will continue to report to Andy Marcell, CEO of Risk Capital for Aon. They will work together to shape Aon’s US reinsurance solutions strategy.
