ANZIIF announces return of Rising Stars in Insurance event

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) has announced that its popular professional development networking event, Rising Stars in Insurance, will return this year in two cities after its hiatus since 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event aims to connect early-career professionals, as well as drive new thinking and provide industry knowledge and practical skills, to help them thrive in any workplace.

The ANZIIF Rising Stars in Insurance event, to be held in Melbourne and Sydney, will bring outstanding insurance professionals in the Australian market as speakers:

Drew Schnehage, managing director, Innovation Group;
Andrew Davies, CEO, Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA);
Sylvia Quang, partner, HWL Ebsworth Lawyers;
Kelly Butler, managing director, Marsh;
Steven Butler, board director & special projects, InsightUS; and
Suzi Leung, chief claims officer, Zurich

“We are thrilled to see the return of the Rising Stars in Insurance event to our 2022 calendar,” said ANZIIF CEO Prue Willsford. “The Rising Stars in Insurance event provides the perfect platform for young insurance professionals to re-connect, network, and gain learnings and insights from leaders in the insurance industry who will share their experiences.”
