Amynta Group subsidiary completes acquisition of Beneva auto dealer-focused business

Sym-Tech Dealer Services (Sym-Tech), a subsidiary of Amynta Group, has completed its acquisition of Beneva Group’s SSQ Dealer Services.

SSQ Dealer Services offers automotive protection products and services to a network of auto dealers in Quebec. Following the transaction, SSQ Dealer Services regional vice president Francis Vallée will continue to lead his team, while Beneva will remain the credit and replacement insurer for SSQ Dealer Services, which will be rebranded into Sym-Tech Dealer Services.

“We are excited to close the acquisition of SSQ Dealer Services, which expands Sym-Tech in the Quebec market and presents attractive growth opportunities,” said Sym-Tech Dealer Services president Derek Sloan. “SSQ Dealer Services has built a strong market presence over the last 20 years by consistently delivering performance to their dealers.”

The deal was first announced last November. In a release, it was explained that Sym-Tech would also work closely with SSQ to grow the business with dealerships and dealer groups.

“Beneva seized the opportunity to sell SSQ Dealer Services’ distribution activities to Sym-Tech Dealer Services because it is a company that shares our values by being human and customer-oriented,” said Beneva president and CEO Jean-François Chalifoux in a previous statement. “We are very pleased to collaborate with Sym-Tech to implement all the elements of this winning combination.”
