AM Specialty names three execs


AM Specialty Insurance Company (ASIC), a domestic excess and surplus insurer and accredited reinsurer, has announced several key hires:


Dominick Tassone Jr. has been named chief underwriting officer
Anne Hoffmans has been appointed senior vice president of program underwriting
Renee Montgomery has been named chief financial officer

Tassone has more than four decades of industry experience. Prior to joining ASIC, he served as vice president of underwriting for Spinnaker Insurance Company and executive vice president and head of programs for Aspen Insurance Group. He has also served in various underwriting management roles at QBE. in his new role, Tassone will be responsible for the development and maintenance of ASIC’s underwriting strategy, division profit and tactical growth, as well as underwriting standards for program business.

Hoffmans has more than 15 years of industry experience. She joins ASIC from Spinnaker Insurance Company, where she served as director of program underwriting. Prior to that, she held roles at State National and Arch Insurance.

Montgomery has more than 20 years of experience in senior finance and accounting positions. From 2020 to 2022, she served as a senior vice president at Skyward Specialty. In the late 90s, she served as CFO at Houston Casualty Company. Montgomery began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
