Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Michael Lezynski as executive vice president within the Alliant Americas division.

Lezynski will be based in Red Bank, N.J., and will be responsible for Alliant’s growth and expansion in the New Jersey and Southeastern Pennsylvania markets.

Lezynski has more than 30 years of industry experience, with expertise across disciplines including IPOs, captives, alternative risk financing vehicles, loss-sensitive agreements and association-sponsored group programs, Alliant said in a news release. Prior to joining Alliant, he served as president in the New Jersey office of a national insurance brokerage and consulting firm.

“Michael’s diverse industry background and strong leadership experience serve as a tremendous asset to Alliant’s ongoing growth and expansion in the Northeast region,” said Bob Bennetsen, executive vice president and senior managing director at Alliant. “He understands the unique risks and exposures businesses in the region face and has successfully delivered creative ways to control claims and minimize business interruption.”

Lezynski is the latest addition to Alliant’s roster. Last week, the company announced the appointment of Todd Schwartz as a senior vice president for Alliant Specialty. Earlier this month, the national broker announced the appointment of Greg Zimmer as its CEO.
