Alliant Insurance Services has continued its hiring spree with the appointment of Cherrise Howard as a vice president within its employee benefits group.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, Howard’s primary responsibility is to conceptualize and implement comprehensive employee benefits programs for clients throughout California.

Howard has more than two decades of experience in the employee benefits and healthcare sector. Prior to joining Alliant, she served as a senior account executive at a prominent Los Angeles-based employee benefits and insurance firm. In addition to her professional role, Howard serves as a board member of the Los Angeles Association of Health Underwriters.

“Through her years of experience in the benefits space, Cherrise brings a unique perspective and background to our team in California,” said Kevin Overbey, president of Alliant Employee Benefits. “She’s focused on delivering superior ROI for her clients and their employees, and she continuously sets the stage for long-term success.”

Howard is the latest in a string of Alliant hires across the country. Earlier this week, the company announced the appointment of Ian Shada as a vice president in the employee benefits division in Omaha. Earlier this month, Alliant tapped Mark Beilein as vice president in its Alliant Americas division.
