Acrisure has announced the establishment of its Midwest Region, incorporating businesses from Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

The new region, featuring over 50 offices, will operate under the unified Acrisure brand, with Tina Semotan appointed as managing partner.

Semotan, with her background as a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force and as former president of HNI Risk Services, an Acrisure Partner, is set to guide the region through its next phase of growth and development.

“From serving in the United States military to helping clients with their financial, insurance and technology needs, I always strive to serve our communities and the businesses in those communities,” Semotan said. “By joining the unified Acrisure brand we have expanded our strength and can better help our clients, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of Greg and the team to trust me to lead this region.”

Acrisure says that it aims to provide clients across these states with an extensive range of services, including insurance, cybersecurity, mortgage origination, payroll services, and more, leveraging both human expertise and technological innovation.

The launch of the Midwest Region also marks the 11th and final US Region to be integrated into this model.

Greg Williams, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Acrisure, highlighted the strategic importance of the Midwest Region in its growth plans.

“From trucking and transportation clients to high-growth and high-need industries such as farming, manufacturing and emerging tech, it’s a client base deserving of the most comprehensive solutions,” Williams said. “Further, the region is led by a dynamic leader in Tina who truly understands our tech-enabled mission and the people and businesses we enthusiastically serve.”

Williams also reflected on the journey of brand integration, acknowledging the efforts of Acrisure colleagues in embracing change and striving for excellence in client service.

“Going forward, we will continue to set audacious goals around client service and innovation, especially as Acrisure becomes a trusted brand around the world,” Williams said.

In a recent Insurance Business interview, Acrisure EVP Mike Shea also discussed the firm’s partnership with Lassiter Ware of Florida, something that has been highly beneficial for both companies.
