A-G Specialty Insurance has acquired eSportsInsurance, which specializes in coverage for amateur youth and adult sports.
The niche client base served by eSportsInsurance spans sports associations, camps, clinics, teams, and other related entities. With the acquisition, A-G Specialty plans to bolster its current portfolio by introducing a range of tailored insurance products and risk management solutions for the sector.
Referring to eSportsInsurance president Terry Green, A-G Specialty Insurance chief executive Dixon Gillis (pictured) said: “Terry and eSportsInsurance have an outstanding reputation in the space for his superior program business, easy click-and-bind portal, and general liability offerings that was our impetus for this deal.
“At A-G Specialty, we will now be able to offer accident and liability coverage to all of our distribution partners and clients. These are very exciting times at A-G, and Terry and his team of experts are a natural fit within our organization.”
Meanwhile assurances have been offered that there will be an orderly transition while eSportsInsurance clients get to access expanded resources and a broader array of insurance products.
Green added: “I am thrilled to join forces with Dixon and A-G Specialty Insurance. Our shared commitment to providing exceptional services to the sports community makes this partnership a perfect fit. Together, we will offer unparalleled insurance solutions that cater to the unique needs of sport teams and organizations.”
A-G Specialty, which rebranded from A-G Administrators in May, also recently acquired Bollinger TPA Services from Gallagher.
“Adding Gallagher’s Bollinger TPA into our organization represents a major step forward in our mission to provide unparalleled insurance solutions,” Gillis noted in early September. “Their deep industry knowledge, combined with their commitment to excellence, aligns perfectly with our values and vision.
“Specifically, Bollinger’s footprint in the k-12 student accident space is a desired growth area for us. We are excited about the opportunities this acquisition presents and look forward to delivering even greater value to our clients, and to also deepen our partnership with Gallagher, a global brokerage leader.”
