5-star workers’ compensation winners revealed

Insurance Business America (IBA) has revealed the top workers’ compensation insurance companies in the USA in 2023.

Accident frequency and severity has been trending steady or slightly downward, but the severity of claims has been increasing and costs have been driven up dramatically. Against this backdrop, the list of 5-star workers’ compensation providers celebrates businesses that are committed to excellence across key areas, including customer service, underwriting expertise, and coverage.

The methodology

IBA heard from hundreds of brokers on what they believe is most important in the top workers’ compensation company offerings. During a 15-week process, IBA’s research team conducted interviews with specialist brokers and surveyed many more within its network.

The insurance providers that offered the best overall service to brokers were named 5-star award winners.
