Any minibike that is over 100 cubic centimeter engine, goes over 30 mph, or has a gear shift, must be registered as a motorcycle. Unless a minibike is operated only on private property it needs to be registered at the Michigan Secretary of State office and the tags displayed on the back of the vehicle. May 29, 2019
