The Rise of the Guardians was released in November 2012 and grossed $306 million rather than its $145 million budget. Unfortunately, it loses about $83 million in distribution expenditures and marketing costs. As a result, the film failed to make money and it is unlikely that a sequel will be produced. Dec 20, 2021
