Kelly Fristoe will now help health insurance, brokers and consultants shape health policy in Washington, and in state capitals.
Fristoe has taken over as the president of the National Association of Health Underwriters, a Washington-based group that serves more than 100,000 health insurance advisors.
Fristoe succeeded Eugene Starks, a benefits broker based in Jackson, Mississippi.
Fristoe is the founder and CEO of Financial Partners, a company based in Wichita Falls, Texas, that sells individual health insurance and employee benefits products and services. In 2020, he started Health IQ, a Financial Partners affiliate that sells Medicare plans.
“I look forward to working with our members to advance NAHU’s goal of expanding access to affordable and quality health insurance,” Fristoe said, in a comment about his new role at NAHU.
