North Western Mutual Whole Life insurance

I’m new to the life insurance route. A friend of mine recommended me to reach out to her friend who is doing an internship with NorthWestern Mutual and after a few meetings, it seemed like a good idea to start investing in something. I’m 27(f), a hospital nurse, with desires of going to CRNA school in a few years if I get accepted. Which is a pretty pricey degree (60-200k depending on school). You can’t work for 3 years so many people take out loans to cover living costs. Anyway, I find I still don’t really understand what this policy is doing for me or if it’s the right move. I discussed with my financial advisor that I would like some way to save money that can grow, but that’s also liquid, so when it comes time to go to grad school I can use saved money toward living expenses. It’s the whole life plus, paid up at age 100. My monthly premium is 295.11, and under my benefits it lists “accumulated value (cash value and an additional dividend), access anytime guaranteed to grow tax deferred over lifetime of policy.

I’m trying to do some research on this policy, it’s a learning curve for me and I’m not even sure what most of this means. Is life insurance like this going to benefit me, say in 3-5 years when I want to withdraw money from it? Will they let me withdraw money and cancel the policy? I’m kind of at a loss here.

Editing to add, ive read your comments and thank you for most of your guys’ great advice on alternatives. I am able to cancel my policy and get my money back. As I’ve learned, this policy doesn’t align with my financial goals, which are saving as much money as I can for living expenses while I (hopefully) am in CRNA school in a few years. If that’s not what ends up happening, I’ll pivot my financial goals. I’m going to set up a high yield savings account and continue saving, and then look into some of the accounts you all have mentioned! I know nothing about financial accounts but have learned to NOT buy a policy without 100% understanding what it is doing for me and my money.
