Needing Life insurance advice for 74 yr old Grandpa

Hello,

I’m trying to help my grandfather come up with a plan for final expenses on his debts and my mentally disabled uncle.

Some context: my grandpa is 74 years old and works full-time still. He takes care of my uncle who is mentally disabled, and he also has a significant amount of mortgage owed. My mother lives with my grandfather, jobless, and makes no contribution to be able to keep the house should something happen to my grandpa. Ive reiterated how we all need to be the one taking care of my grandpa instead but there is no reasoning or getting through to my mother. It’s quite infuriating. I’m the only one trying to figure out a solution for debts to be taken care of should he pass. My grandfather and grandmother raised me and my grandfather is more my dad and I want to give him peace of mind that my uncle and mom will be ok if something happens to him. I love my grandpa very much and I’m wanting to help him as much as possible, and I would be the one paying for the life insurance policy.

I’ve called so many insurance companies, but I wanted to check on here there are any life insurance companies that offer $100k for seniors. My grandfather unfortunately has COPD, high blood pressure, and pre-diabetes. Which has eliminated him from many insurance policy options that are $100k. I know it’s a long shot, but if anyone has any advice on what type of companies I could check into or even just advice in general, that would be great.
