Mom w/ cancer wants me to get LI on her

My mom has metastatic breast cancer. It moved from the breast to her bones. We have an appt today where we will find out if it has moved to her lungs.

When she wanted a bigger house, I put up the down payment. We live together along with my grandmother and two younger brothers. I have life insurance and so does my mom. I'm not married and have no kids.

As the oldest and only daughter, it has always been up to me to take care of everyone. My mom wants me to get life insurance on her so I'm ok after the mortgage and her bills are taken care of. Her current life insurance will definitely cover that. She wants me to take out additional insurance for myself.

What is the best insurance for me to get? Is it even worth it becauseof her diagnosis? She is 62 and (other than the cancer lol) she is in great spirits and great health. If you met my mom you would even know she was sick, except for when she tries to show her her prosthetic boob. LMAO

I know i have insured interest but I can't afford an expensive policy. What should I do? Any advice is helpful. We are in MD.
