Following its integration into the Mariner Wealth brand, HTH and its 12 associates will remain at its Scottsdale office, while also supporting the advisors at Mariner Wealth’s offices in Scottsdale and Phoenix, the RIA said.

Founded in 2017 by David Hopkins and Joe Tameron, HTH’s goal has been to take their expertise from working together at a national firm and scaling it down to offer deeper personalization in each of their services, Mariner Wealth said.

HTH provides personalized tax, consulting and wealth management services for clients in various industries, including construction, hospitality, manufacturing, professional services, real estate and technology. The firm completed 1,500 tax returns in 2022 for corporate and individual clients, according to Mariner Wealth.

“Hopkins and Tameron have demonstrated admirable success in their operations on both a national and independent scale,” according to Marty Bicknell, Mariner Wealth CEO and president. “I look forward to seeing this success translate into the team’s work with our advisors and clients in the greater Scottsdale and Phoenix area, as well as nationwide.”

“Joining Mariner Wealth Advisors will accelerate our mission of turning vision into value for our clients, and we are excited to broaden the scope of services we’re able to provide with the firm’s support,” Hopkins said in a statement.

Mariner has $300 million in assets under advisement and the firm and its affiliates now advise on more than $105 billion in assets, it said.
