I applied for life insurance. I was originally quoted about $555 annually. I went through the whole underwriting and got approved. The new adjust amount is $850. They said the reason for the price increase is cause I have PTSD. I went to a phd program. During the program (while working full time) I burned out hard. I was worked to the bone for several months for a mentor to screw me over have to start over half way through. The lasting effects of that is lack of motivation. I completely lost my passion for research. I really struggle finding meaning in working. But I'm very happy and normal outside of work. You would never know I struggle with work motivation. Anyways, they literally think I'm a higher risk cause of this "PTSD" which I don't even think is PTSD. 🙁 I sleep normal. I have don't cry or stress in my day to day. But I dread work, I am not motivated nor focused to do what I need to do with work.

I big question is, should I accept this offer for life insurance? Or should I not accept and wait a year until I can A. either clear up my medical records regarding PTSD or B. heal from my PTSD to where I don't have an active issue with it then apply again later. Any suggestions or thoughts?
