Is it possible that my payout will be denied because my mom was an alcoholic?

My mom passed away two days ago. She had an aneurysm, and then due to complications from only having one kidney and also having cirrhosis of the liver, her body just couldn’t recover, her organs shut down and she never woke up. She had life insurance through her work that would pay my sister, stepdad, and I, all just over $100,000 each, which would be life changing for all of us. I wasn’t aware of this until a lady from Metlife called me today.

I’m now learning that there are many reasons why beneficiaries may not be paid out even if the dead person had a valid insurance policy (suicide, homicide, etc). I’m wondering if the insurance can deny paying us out because her alcoholism contributed greatly to how she died. Is this possible or am I worried over nothing? She never made a lot of money but recently got a pretty good job and she dreamed of helping me pay off my students loans and for my wedding, and this payout would allow her to to that in a way, so it would really burn if the payout is denied.
