In remission from cancer & need suggestions

I’m a 62 yo female & in remission from Stage 2 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma 3 years. I’m disabled & my only income is SSDI. I also have Crohn’s Disease (dx before cancer). I applied for insurance thru AARP with NY Life. I was honest about all my medical history. NY Life denied me & said it was based on my prescription medication. I am an amputee (since age 4) & take pain medication prescribed to me by a pain management doctor. I figure that’s what they’re referring to but they weren’t specific. I have other health issues—high blood pressure & a heart condition called Diastolic Dysfunction that was diagnosed a year ago. I am divorced with no children & just want enough life insurance to pay for my burial. I can’t afford a high payment every month because I’m barely surviving on disability after working 36 years. Are there any life insurance companies that would issue a policy to me that wouldn’t be more than $50-$60/month? I don’t want my remaining family members to have to pay for my burial. I’m hoping to survive for a while, but nothing is guaranteed. Thanks for any suggestions & I will provide more information if needed. I live in Texas.
