I cancelled my policy with American Life Income over 2 months ago over email, yet they’re still taking money from me

I got sucked into this stupid life insurance company over a year ago. My dad joined it and convinced me to also join. I was so dumb, I barely understood what I was joining for since I blindly trusted my dad.

They were taking $50 a month from me, I ended up getting into financial trouble and needed to cancel it. I called them to get my policy number (and they insisted they couldnt cancel over the phone for some reason) and then emailed them demanding it be canceled and that I didnt want any other offers. I got an email back within a few hours saying " Hello, I have removed the policy from bank draft and will send the cancelation form to complete." and that was it.

2 months have gone by. I've received two letters from them saying I owe them the $50. I have not received any cancellation letter or email. They started spamming me with texts the first month about my missed payment, and when I told them I canceled they were like "I apologize for the confusion, you wont be drafted. Please disregard the message."

Both months after I canceled they've taken $2.38 from my bank. I emailed them again yesterday asking wtf was going on, that I canceled and they're still taking my money. Have not heard back. I just want to be completely rid of this stupid company.
