How to find an unknown insurance policy that was taken out on you as a child?

My grandmother had a life insurance policy taken out on me when I was a child. However, she passed away when I was 16 which was 13 years ago. in 2019 I found out that there is a life insurance policy still active on me that my uncle is paying because my grandmother left him as the beneficiary. Unfortunately, my uncle and I aren’t on the best terms. I suspect that this life insurance policy has cash value and I’m currently 29 years old so I’m not sure why he is still paying on it. How would I find out if there is a life insurance policy taken out on me without reaching out to that Uncle? I don’t fully understand life insurance so if anyone cares to explain, I’d appreciate it. Since I am an adult now, I’m not sure why he was still be paying on it unless he’s been cashing it out illegally. When I call the state of New Jersey, they said that they couldn’t help me because they don’t have information to tell me if there is a policy that has been taken out in my name.

I would appreciate any advice on this matter .
